Curtis Manning Design
has also volunteered many hours of design time for silent
auctions benefiting various organizations over the last
several years. Most recently, I have donated preliminary
design services to the Canyon Concert Ballet, the Rocky
Mountain Sustainable Living Association, and the Friends
School. This year I will be helping out the Friends
school again as well as a new charter school called
the Flagstaff Academy and the Boulder County Humane
Society. If you know of any other worthy causes, feel
free to pass my name along.
Curtis Manning Design
was the recipient of an Excellence in Landscape Award
(EIL) presented by the Associated Landscape Contractors
of Colorado. The winning project was a landscape designed
and built for the Cheshire Cat Hospital in Broomfield.
This landscape is a complete xeriscape demonstration
including buffalo grass turf, a wide array of colorful
perennials, trees and shrub, flagstone patios, sandstone
boulder compositions, concrete flatwork, stone and wood
post and rail fencing, a vegetable garden and an entrance
water feature.
